Voice Description

Hello All,

My voice has been described as the Voice of God... Actually, because of it I did land the role of God in a play called "The Creation II" by Dr. Donald Brown at my Alma Mater Delaware State University. I have done local government voice over projects like a PSA for pool safety and a couple of voice recording for the Kent County Public Safety Department. If you are familiar with Batman the Animated Series produced by Paul Dini & Bruce Tim, I can mimic Kevin Conroy's version of Batman's voice. Many people have told me that I should try for radio, and that my voice is very sexy. It is deep and smooth as well. I could also produce a gravelly, scary sound as well (almost Keith David's Spawn or his Goliath from Disney's Gargoyles).

My Voice Experience

The only voice over experience that I have (at least proof of) is my work I did for Kent County Levy Court here in Delaware. I did a PSA for Pool Safety. It is more of a narrative piece. More of an informational feel. The other type of experience I had was just doing certain words and phrases for Kent County Department of Public Safety. The phrases aren't really heard by the public. The EMS workers and volunteer Firemen hear my voice over their call system, when certain scenarios arise.

My Training

I have my Bachelors of Science in Environmental Science and an unofficial minor in Theatre. I say unofficial because I have been training and working with Dr. Damus A. Kenjyatta for about 12 years. This includes my years as a college student at Delaware State University. Under his training, I have learned the importance of Kinesics,how important it is for an actor's words to match body movement and facial expression.

My Studio Equipment

I have a small system with me. It is called the M-Audio Classroom Studio: Complete recording package for the computer. I am still learning the system and I am in the process of getting my home studio together. If all else fail, I do have a friend that has his own studio. He was the one that did the PSA video for pool safety for Kent County.

Additional Skills

I have been on stage and behind stage for about 12 years now, learning the in's and out's of the theatre. Acting on stage has shown me the importance of the visual arts. I haven't done many voice overs projects, but I am interested in jumping into the field.
