My Voice Experience

I have done voiceovers under several different projects in association with Miami Dade College. I have worked with the school's new's magazine known as MDC In Focus and have done voiceover work for several of the news reports that were filmed using me and not. I have also done voiceover work with the organization Generation Engage in conjunction with the City of Miami for a public service announcement encouraging the use of compact flourescent lightbulbs. The ad also features me. I also was employeed with a local tutoring agency in Miami known as Child Hope, Inc. and my voice was used to create the voice message for callers to our toll free number.

My Training

I currently have:

An Associate in Arts degree - English Literature from Miami Dade College, pursuing a Bachelor in Fine Arts at New World School of the Arts (under the University of Florida) under theater. I have received a year of voice work under the bachelor's program. I am currently pursuing a career in acting both for film and theater. I have also had a background in music performing with a state chorus formerly known as the Florida Mass Acappella Chorus (now known as the Acappella Singers of Florida). I also took up a year of Studio Production in high school in 2005.

My Studio Equipment

My access to studios is limited due to the rules and regulations of Miami Dade College, but the studio here as well as some others that are not as easy to get to have the following pieces of equipment: decent computer sound card and speakers, microphones (carbon, dynamic, ribbon, condensor, and crystal), mic pop filters, mic stands, Firewire digital recording interface, recording software, headphones, cables, audio conversion software, soundproof as well as acoustically engineered rooms, and Mac and Windows PCs.

Additional Skills

I do have the ability to speak fast, handle tongue-twisters with ease and speak partial Spanish.
