Voice Description

Most of the voices I do are just for fun. I'm interested in cartoon character voiceovers, mostly. The only voice I can mimic as of now is that of Princess Peach, from Nintendo's popular Super Mario video game series. I can also talk in a hillbilly accent, and I'm a bit average at talking in a British or middle-eastern accent. I can also sound (in my opinion) suave-ish.

My Voice Experience

I'm going to be honest and state that I have little to no experience in recording studios and such. The only experience I have in voiceover-type things are talking in a British accent when reading a Harry Potter book to myself (or possibly others). My friends and I also like to make up voices just for fun, and we talk to each other using them sometimes. Also, I set voicemail messages for my cellphone often.

My Training

I've never had any training whatsoever, but I have been given the opportunity to hone my voie somewhat while taking Drama class at my school (keep in mind I'm 16). I also try to practice my singing voice (in the shower) and work on the voices I already know how to do.

Additional Skills

I am prone to a dry throat every now and then, so it's important I drink water or tea once in a while during voicing. I have sometimes had to clear my throat while talking in a 'voice', so I'm just assuming I'd need something to drink before I start talking, which I think is a safe assumption. I'd like very well to become a voice actor.
