My Voice Experience

I was originally "discovered" while answering phones at a pizzeria in 1988. A woman asked me to work for her on a telephone party-line, a then new, 1-900-976-2020 (based in Portland, OR). I was trained to portray different women (various inflections, annunciations, pitches, etc) so the repeat caller would get a sense that he/she was talking to someone new, thus keeping them on the line longer and the company would make more money.
My experience has led me to enjoy speaking on the phone and dubbing for public service announcements. I have been asked more than once by the person on the receiving end of the phone, "is this a live person or a recording?" I have had many comments by customers and friends alike that my voice is warm, soothing, and sexy.

My Training

I worked with a producer Matt McCourt (USMETAL.COM, McComa Entertainment~Portland, OR) on dubbing a Public Service Announcement that I wrote and performed voice over. I have been trained in various inflections, annunciations, and pitches.
