My Voice Experience

More life experience than recording experience. I've lived Germany, UK and US east coast encountering and befriending people from all over the world. Supplanted by my families military background (and constant turnover of international friends) I have a list of influences way too long to print. As a musician/vocalist/poet/dancer/rapper I have been involved in numerous recording and live acting/dancing projects. A few of the recordings have included some of my more developed characters and their voices.
As a kid I would perform one man (multi-charactered) skits for show and tell- 2nd grade- and continued to entertain lunch table after lunch table with cartoon impressions, teacher impersonations, and sound effects.

My Training

I have been involed in a few acting workshops in Charlotte, NC and performance poetry workshops in Bristol, UK; all of which touched on character and acting with the voice.

As an avid fan of cartoons, comedy skit shows, and radio adverts I would say I've been studying all of my life.

Timing expert!

I'm a percussionist, rapper, dancer (mostly hip hop and some traditional African), and an actor so timing is second nature to me. ;)

Being the quiet shy kid has made me an expert on human observation, and working on telephones for two years has made me acutely aware of voices and their nuances.

As a performer I use my voice quite a bit. The amount of years I've been performing has, by default as well as some training, made me aware of how to take care of it.
