The Quirky, Funny, Down-to-Earth Life of the Party
Boris Karloff was considered the man of 1000 faces. Consider me the man of 1000 voices. No matter if it's for a commercial, book-on-tape, animated series, industrial or promo I consider each project not like a job but a person-unique, individual and tailored to the client's needs.
I understand what the client wants and I sell it. If you have a product that caters to kids, I'm that bubbly, friendly guy. If the product demands the attention of the listeners because of the important information that needs to be conveyed, I help make the information seem easy to listen to with my pleasant but energetic tone. If the product is a book-on-tape, I embody the type of story the author wrote about and bring it to life-characters and all.

My Voice Experience
The only reason I'm in this industry is because Porky Pig and Tweety Bird said I should be here. Back in 1993, after coming off a short stint as a fireman on the popular show ER and being the funny kid playing a tuba in Saved by the Bell, I decided to take a voice over class at the SAG Conservatory. I hadn't done voice over work before, but had plenty of experience on camera, and doing stage work. Bob Bergen (voice of above mentioned characters)taught the class and came up to me after asking for a voice over demo. When I said I didn't have one, he was blown away because he thought I was just brushing up.
15 years later, I have helped a local tire store in Indiana sell more tires with their commercial, helped the French make-up company Prodiene Clinte get on the map with their 20 minute infomercial, and provided over 300 different voices for various cartoons, anime series and games. You can see my credits by typing my full name into search boxes of most search engines and following those links.
I started singing professionally when I was 7, I started in on-camera commercials when I was 10, I wrote and starred in my first stage play when I was 11, and have always done voices since I can remember.
I went to Henry Perrine Baldwin High School in Wailuku, Maui where I really honed in my acting, singing and dancing skills in several musicals and dramatic plays. I joined the Thespian Society and became President my Senior year. I also participated in two different community theater groups and received an award for Best Actor when I played the lead in Brighton Beach Memoirs.
I graduated with a BFA in musical theater at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA and toured for two years after graduating in various dinner theaters and plays.
I was in a couple of sketch comedy/improv groups in Los Angeles, when I moved back here in '93 (I grew up here before moving to Maui). Improv has proved invaluable in various voice over projects I've worked on.
I have taken classes from Bob Bergen, Charlie Adler, Susan Blu, Michael Bell, Lynda McCarrell, Linda Castaneda, and many others.
My Studio Equipment
I am almost always on the go, so I use recording software directly connected to my iPhone. Sound files can be sent as an MP3 and either emailed, or I can FTP it to your server.
If the project requires radio ad production services, or a fully mixed product, then I can outsource to several studios where the recording can be done live via phone patch or ISDN. All studios I work with have state-of-the art recording equipment and software to make your product shine. I can also get music and special effects added at these places. The fees I charge do not include these additional services, but when I do need to outsource, I can get them VERY inexpensively.
There are four shows I am on currently, that can be seen by the general public: Naruto, Shino Aburame, NickToons; Bleach, Uryu Ishida, NickToons; Digimon Fusion, Jeremy, NickToons; NFL Rush Zone-Guardians Unleashed, Jackson, NickToons.
I am also a writer. The two most notable projects were an animated movie that I scripted and starred in, and my commercial demo you can listen to here which was completely penned by myself.
