Voice Description

I have a moderately deep voice, with some minor raspiness, but can disguise that easily. I can sound warm for commercials or endorsements, cold for any role, soothing, harsh, energetic- both for any variety of role, can perform in a high pitched falsetto-style voice, but not for long periods of time.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

My favorite accent to do is that of an older British male. It comes very easliy to me and am almost more comfortable speaking like that than in my natural voice. I can do a variety of different British male voices, from the most propper to the cockney drawl, American southern male, generic very elderly american male, middle eastern/russian accent speaking english.

My Voice Experience

No formal experience, never tried. Did do individual events in high school forensics and impromtu speeking and have trophies to prove it! Have old tapes of some recordings from high school, but I could make new ones that sound far better today than seven years ago. I've perfected the styles.

My Training

I have had four years of high school forensics. I am one year away from a degree in Mass Communication and Journalism at CSU Fresno. I am a muscian, don't sing much but play piano/keyboards and bass guitar- I have three!

Additional Skills

No formal training here. I'm one of those shots in the dark. I have had two customer service jobs- bagger/checker at Vons, and also worked in the service department of a Toyota/VW/Porsche/Audi dealership and always dealt with customers. Customer service jobs, if you're good can be fun. I've always liked to make people laugh and am pretty good at that. My British male accent is dead on, so I've been told. The four years of public speaking competition have helped, several trophies for performances, including two for a radio broadcast event, the others for live performances- no first, but a few thirds and a second place win. I really miss it.
