My Voice Experience

I have been a working voice over artist since 1985. I have been represented by the following agencies ...Talent Group, Special Artists, Aces, Abrams artists, Arlene Thornton, Don Pitts/ KSA, and the Tisherman agency. I am now represented by my original agent...Vanessa Gilbert at the TGMD agency. I have done radio spots, tv spots, tv promos, movie trailers, and also on - camera.
My longest running job was a tv show called "The Lazarus Man" with Robert Urich. It ran for over two seasons, and I did all the promos for the show. My most recent job was a "McRibs" spot for McDonald's .
A California "Smog check" commercial that I did in the late 80's is still on the air.
I am told that my voice print is very distinctive, and have a musical background wihich makes my sense of timing and pacing easy to wok with.

My Training

I have studied commercials with Sue Blu, PromoTrailer with Marice Tobias, which included a workshop with Don La Fontaine. I have aslo studied privately with Marice Tobias , Andy Geller, and Beau Weaver. Recently I took an " audition pro " class at the Voice Caster with Huck Ligett.

My Studio Equipment

My Home studio consists of a Macintosh computer, Po Tools, M Box, Audio Technica 4033 microphone, a Samson USB mic. I also use Sound Studio to record and edit my performances. I also use an M Audio...Microtrack II for mobile and remote recordings.

Denny is best known as one of the industry's premiere session drummers, a founding member of Paul McCartney's group, Wings, and a signature sound and style of drumming heard on many of the classic Rock'n Roll albums.

For the past years he has also become known as one of the new talents in the voice over world. While working on commercials as a drummer, his distinctive voice caught the attention of producers, and was steered into formal training for a voice over career. Early success came with national spots for "La Coupe", a hair care product, several public service announcements for various concerns, the voice of the Los Angeles Jazz Society TV show "Jazz In Review", and an international Agfa High Definition Color Film Commercial. Next came the Turner network show "The Lazarus Man" which appeared in over 100 major markets for more than one season. Denny did weekly promos for this show. He can also be heard on the trailer for the Danny Aiello film "Wilbur Falls".

He has been a studio Musician for over forty years , and has recorded with artists such as Paul McCartney , Billy Joel, James Brown, Art Garfunkel, Astrud Gilberto, The Who, Rick Danko of "the Band", Jpe Cocker, Leon Russell, and many many more. Over the years, he has produced recordings of note, and recorded sound tracks for countless TV& and film projects. The notice of Denny's voice quality was pointed out by producers that he has worked with over my many years as a studio musician. Recently Denny had a speaking role and music production credit in the film "Bobby" ...the Robert Kennedy film by Emilio Estevez.
