Voice Description
My regular speaking voice has been described as the perfect FM DJ type voice. But my radio work has let me develop many alter egos depending on the project. Versatility will be the key quality that clients will enjoy with my voice because I can alter the tempo, sound and cadence to alter the mood. Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
Regular characters that appear on my radio presentations include an old fashioned cowboy, an 90 year old senile old farmer, and an Austrian psychiatrist. Over the years many other impersonations have been used during radio work including Satan and Santa. Voice characters that mimic Wolfman Jack, Don Cornelius, former Presidents, and others have been mastered through years of major market radio.
My Voice Experience
Since 2005 my partners and I have run an Internet radio station covering stockcar racing. Part of my duties have included the preparation of advertisements for our many sponsors including GLOCK, Anti Monkey Butt Powder, Soldiers Angels, Patriot Guard, and Rockingham Speedway. In our own studios we can add music and special effects to prepare a unique advertising message for our clients.
My Training
Since high school I have been involved in radio production work. I continued to add computer and other broadcasting courses during my college days that have helped me develop the necessary skills to handle audio production. My radio experience has included major market weather broadcasts and I even appeared on "The O'Reilly Factor" on FOX NEWS.
My Studio Equipment
My home studio includes Peavey and Mackey mixing boards and a variety of high quality microphones. A digital phone hybrid and access to two servers to house audio productions are available onsite.
Additional Skills
In addition to my ability to produce the finished product I can also develop the script for the projects involved. As a published writer since 1998 I have prepared a variety of long and short format articles covering a variety of topics.
