Voice Description
In addition to be a voice over artist, I am a spoken word artist, and an actor, with lots of improv., sketch comedy, and varied dramatic roles, so used to using my voice to portray a wide variety of characters, from the conversa- tional and friendly guy next door, to confident and knowlegeable for business, heartfelt and sincere for PSA's,or the quick switch combo platter. My Voice Experience
I began my career as a poet, and spoken word artist, performing in the Southeast, competing with the sound of clinking beer bottles, and the swooshing of espresso makers, making people stop in mid-sip,laugh,choke,spit up a little coffee, and listen. I have performed with many of the souths most well know poets, at coffee houses, and colleges, and performed and recorded with John Goode and Ayodele Heath,(natioanl poetry slam finalists) on Java Monkey Speaks, and been broadcast on Public Radio South. I have also acted in several plays, and films, including the cult film "Come Get Some",written and performed with "Sketchworks", and wrote and produced a play "Bar None", a screwball comedy, in the Spring of 2008 at YourAct Theater, in Atlanta. I continue to write and perform poetry, and will be appearing beginning in April, in two productions for "Atlanta Theater To Go", a local touring company. I studied Voice Over with Della Cole, and continue to study acting with Bob Harter of YourAct, and Michael Lucker of Encylomedia. I have a passion for theater and the arts, and am fascinated by the many ways that humans communicate. Like it says on the side of my "65" Ford Pickup (in big letters) "Art Is Life!"
My Training
Bachelor of Fine Arts-Indiana University, What Films (on camera writing and acting),Dads Garage Theater (Improvisation), Alliance Theater(acting for the stage), YourAct (on camera acting/commercial and film),Horizons Theater (set design, and build). Founder of "Art Farm" theater/gallery, and Flex Space gallery. Performance poetry, talk show host and writer(Culture Barn), emcee and host for variety show "The Intimo Lounge".
My Studio Equipment
Gateway computer with Windows Vista, Sonar LE audio/video software, Samson CO1U professional USB microphone.

I am as well known for my writing as my voice skills, poetry, sketch comedy, full length plays, creative writing of all kinds. I do visual art, as well, and design and build sets for theater, here in Atlanta. I have owned and operated my own theater, and two galleries, and am currently employed by Horizons Theater, and own my own business, "Boomerang", where I sell vintage furnishings and art.
