Voice Description

My voice is a little low for a woman's voice. Also a little on the sultry side. I can also speak in a higher, more normal tone and be very upbeat and humorous. I have a lot of inflection in my speaking and I am able to convey specific emotion very well when I speak.

My primary occupation has been in the customer service field, where I have had to learn to use only my voice to communicate with people over the phone who are often having issues that I need to help resolve. I have learned from my customer service experience to modify my voice to calm people down, or to get them to listen to me when they are distracted.

I am also an amatuer singer, and I can carry a tune a capella and stay on key.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I do not specifically do any accents, but I do pick up on accents extremely quickly. I did some traveling as a child and I used to get kidded by people because I would be speaking with the local accent within hours of being there.

I was also raised in Boston and had a very strong Boston accent as a child which I managed to remove completely from my speaking within a few days of moving to California.

When I sing, I also tend to sing very much like the artist that normally sings that particular song.

None so far. I just feel this is something I would be very good at and would like to do part time.

Many years of training in Voice, primarily as a vocalist.

I have a comeplete computer setup where I can record my own voice. I have some audio file editing software, but I have not used it much, though I could if needed.
