My Voice Experience

Den Hart is the owner of Flutterby Puppets, and his vocals are used throughout his company's recorded sound tracks and live performances. As Creative Director for this four-year old entertainment business, Den also hires and directs voice over talent for a wide variety of puppet character roles, and produces the final audio tracks that feature vocals, music and sound effects for each production.

Den has contributed his diverse creative skills as a copy writer, talent director, video and audio editor for companies that include Farmer Boys Food, Inc. (2003 - current), CAE Alpheus (1998 - 2003), Reeve Store Equipment Company (1997), and ITW Plastiglide (1983-1993).

My Training

As a theatrical performer in high school and college, Dennis Hart has appeared on stage as Senator Titus Savage in "The Curious Savage", as Charlie Brown in a Southern California tour of "The Gospel According to Peanuts", an eccentric gourmet chef in "Out of the Frying Pan", a marionette in a children's theater production of "Pinocchio", as well as an unborn fetus in Victor Buono's stirring monologue, "I Am".

Den's acting abilities have enabled him to further develop and perfect his vocal craft as a character specialist. In 1980, Den acquired a preliminary teaching credential and taught art appreciation for the L.A. City School District at San Pedro and Gardena Community Adult Schools until 1983. But the theater never left his blood. From 2001 until 2004, Den taught theater arts, accents and dialects, and puppetry at one of Southern California's most successful performing arts organizations for youth, C.A.T. Corona.

As the owner/creative director of a Southern California entertainment company, Dennis currently provides character voices and audio production for the audio tracks used in his troupes' puppetry performances. His company, Flutterby Puppets (FlutterbyPuppets website) performs for schools, youth organizations, museums, civic events and more. He is a member of the Puppeteers of America.
