My Voice Experience

I would like to break into the voice-over business starting small and working up. Initially, of course, I would not expect as much money as more experienced talent. The best experience I have is making my friends laugh with my silly voices and impersonations, which provides them with countless hours of entertainment at my expense. They're always saying I should be on TV, although I don't think on-camera acting is for me. This would be an excellent way for me to work in the industry without the camera exposure.

My Training

I am an amateur singer, and I have taken a few drama classes. As I said earlier, the most experience I have is from making people laugh, which I do quite well.

Additional Skills

I currently work full time at a hospital. I had overhead paged someone the other day, and my boss actually called me and asked if I'd ever considered doing any shifts in the switchboard, because I have a "lovely paging voice." That is what actually made me think about voice over work. I really think I have an interesting voice and I hope you will give me a try.
