Addition of music This is one of two versions of a :60 radio spot for a local commercial equipment rental company. I handled the entire campaign for this company - an event that we dubbed "Mow Like A Pro" - promoting the retail sale of their new residential mower line. The campaign included a giveaway which drew several hundred respondents.
For this ad, I controlled the copy writing based upon the information that the client wanted included. The client was very specific about the amount of information that had to be included in the ad, so I had to turn the commercial into a rather "quick read," to fit the :60 time allotment. Therefore, this is probably a good example of putting something together against the odds and still having it come out sounding decent. On a standard read, this commercial would have been 1:40 ... though it's not, perhaps, the best example of a controlled spot, I feel that it does shine on my "Find A Way" philosophy ... making something work, even if hindered by unrealistic expectations. Ultimately the spot and campaign worked beyond the customer's wildest expectations, so I feel that this is a good one to include as an example for your consideration.
