WRHI Morning Show Disclaimer English - North American Promos Southern lady (Miss Jean) Middle Age Female, Senior Female Copywriting
Delivery of edited and finished voice tracks
Voice direction The character, Miss Jean, is a Southern lady - one of the true belles - who still insist on wearing white gloves and a hat to church and will not eat with her fingers. You will never see her unless her hair and makeup are impeccably done and she is the self-appointed whistle blower for the FCC (and, yes ... she really did exist as a radio commentator in the 50/60's in the South). I grew up knowing about Miss Jean and my first job in radio was sitting behind the same mike she did unti the mid-70's. Her local boycott crusades caused the song "My Ding-a-ling" to be yanked from the airwaves in southeast Alabama and was probably one of her last acts to clean up the airwaves. A lot has changed since then ... but her personae lives on!
