My Voice Experience

I am a Singer/ Performer with a deep and Sultry Jazz- like yet non-conforming sound and avid songwriter. My latest Voice/Song Venture: Writing a Song "Wishing for a lifetime for the Distress Centre Durham" for families affected by the tragedy of Suicide.

Result: An awesome recording with the sole purpose of comforting and healing!

I have and still perform in Several concerts locally.

My first Voice over job was in High School with a friend doing a documentary on Global Welfare. It was a smashing success. I was then asked to record greetings at the YMCA in Scarborough, Greeting as well as Product Ads for Customers on Hold: Multi-Health Systems in Toronto 1998, Real Estate Craig-Proctor Styled Info Line for Pierre Parris of Min Com First Source Realty in Ajax 2007.

My current recording that is in process is for Children of fallen Soldiers to be released in June 2009. This is a request made to me,to tie in with a fundraiser for these families.

I began writing music at the age of 7. I released my first genre CD "Spirit in Bloom" Oct/08

My Studio Equipment

I have an in-home Studio using Digi-Design board with PreAmps. My Recording and Editing Software is Sonar Prouducer 8.0 My Microphone is a top of the line condenser for smooth yet crisp sound. Software comes with built in effects for a rounder, crispier, muted, wa-washed or synthetic sound options depending on your preferences.

Additional Skills

I simply enjoy speaking and singing. I host in house workshops on Healing the Spirit. I incorporate my original music and integrate it into the topic I am presenting.

I am also a custom Songwriter; I create songs based on a particular theme or client need. Besides the song for the Distress Centre and World Vision and Food Bank I have written songs for Recording Artists, Translated songs based on the theme and 'best english description' given to me by the artist. I create lyrics for melodies and create melodies for lyrics. I have been told that my voice is sultry and draws people in. I have also been told that my voice invokes emotional responses, but is warm and inviting.

I worked both as a Real Estate Agent, and Customer Service Representative. Both of which require people skills and above all a smile in your voice and the feeling of trust.
