My voice is young and fresh for club and childrens commercials, soft and intimate for serious documentaries and commercials and animated for character work. Including baby noises and strange sounds for inanimate objects.
It can be clear and precise for English speaking learners and presentations. In accents such as Indian, Cockney, Essex, RP, Liverpool, Northern and west country. I can imitate most disney characters including Ariel, Timone, Jasmine, Pocahontas and simba as well as the singing! My singing voice is clear and strong with a sweet sound.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I can do most Indian accents and UK including Northern, Scottish, and Irish. My Family are from Guyana in South America and so I have grown up mimiking this broken english, caribbean sound. As I listen to a lot of American TV I can also do a standard American aswell as a califonian young teen voice.

My Voice Experience

Having being chosen to film a commercial for london transport I was on top of the world. Filming day came with all the buzz and excitment and the news that two days will be spent on a red double decker buss driving around central london! When evening came on both days filming started for me, evenyone was a little tired by then, but still excited. Finished. A wrap...no! A day later I was called into a London studio to do a postsync becase everyone has missed the fact that I had said a different word than on the script whilst fiming! Ok it shouldn't take too long! But putting words to movments on the screen in front of you is such an exciting way of working especially when you get to mess aroung with voices for your own face! And that experience in the studio changed my view on voice overs for ever!

My Training

I am an actress and having trainned at a London drama school have done lots of radio drama workshops. When I got interested in Voice overs and animation I was lucky to find a voice over artist well established in the industry to coach me in her studio and give my lots of advice. I still see her regularly.

Additional Skills

As an actress its important to have excellent sight reading abilities which I put to good use for a corporate company I work with regulary . We usually have to read and perform a new script within hours! I belong to several groups such as a watercolour painting class and a local Choir. Yoga and Ballet are lessons that I take weekly.
