Voice Description
I have a warm, welcoming, helpful, inviting voice that is great for industrial/corporate promotional videos, infomercials, telephone and transportation system announcements, Descriptive Video and, e-Learning training modules. The smart, pleasing, authoritative qualities to my voice are well suited to professional applications, Public Service Announcements, broadcast imaging, interstitials, live award shows, political spots and, documentary narration. My relaxed, friendly, natural sound is often used in commercials as is my sexy sound. My background with stage and on-camera acting are often employed to create various character voices from evil witches to friendly, cuddly bears which are ideal for commercials, audio books and, animated projects. My skill with accents (Russian, French, German, English, Southern Belle, Jewish and various others) also come in handy for commercials, audio books and animated projects.

My Voice Experience
It has been my pleasure to give voice to many products and services over the years. Corporate promotional video / infomercial projects include those done for Westcoast Family Centers, Motion Specialties BC, Bridal Fair, the Professional Employees Association and, Sonique. Agency promotional videos for Project Seed Bag and VST are examples of work I did for the non-profit sector. Clients on the commerical side have included the BC Podiatrists for their "Ask a Podiatrist Day" campaign, Dairy Queen, Pacific Theatre and, U-Factor. I narrated the short film KVETCHING and a behind the scenes special for the feature film THE SCHOOL OF LIFE. Interstitial work includes character voicing I did on the OUR FIRST VOICES project for Knowledge Network. I have enjoyed various opportunities to read short stories to live audiences, on the radio (CKST) as well as for the visually impaired (National Broadcast Reading Service). I also recorded 225 (news anchor style format) shows of the Vancouver Report over a five year period for Voiceprint which was broadcast nationally for the benefit of the visually impaired. I also have many stage and on-camera acting credits including appearances in commercials and Public Service Announcements (Suddenlink, the Red Cross) and, in films such as the multi-award-winning short film SUPER-ANON.
My Training
Following graduation with a BA in Theatre Acting, I studied with various voice-over experts including: John Juliani, Marcy Goldberg, Elizabeth Carol Savenkoff, Iris Quinn, Cathy Weseluck, Randi Riediger, Susan Berkley, Moneen Daley Harte, Alan Marriott and Pat Fraley. And, I continue to study with voice-over and acting coaches.
My Studio Equipment
I have a complete home studio equipped with a Blue Yeti microphone. And, I have ready access to higher-end microphones such as the Rhode NT2-A and the Neumann U87.
Additional Skills
My skills in proof reading and editing for print and online content for organizations such as Women In Film & Television have also served me well in assisting voice-over clients with fine tuning copy.
