My voiceover/acting experience ranges from long-time Rock Radio Morning Show co-host to Outdoors AM Talk, to thousands of radio, television and web spots selling everything from furniture to senior care to cars; I've done several website/industrial/training videos (which I love) to live theater and campy late-night cut-ins during Sci-Fi programming on the local medium-market ABC affiliate to the overhead announcements at Lansing's Capital City International Airport.
I began my radio career in 1988; took some college courses (mostly writing!); earned a certificate from a broadcasting trade school (Specs Howard, RTV 89 Detroit); have worked medium market rock radio delivering the News and co-hosting a Morning Show since 1990; studied Method Acting for six years; and have been producing radio/TV commercials for the last twenty-plus years -- I've had a home studio since 2003.
I have a Neumann TLM-103 microphone, Universal Audio LA-610 MkII Microphone Preamp and Pro Tools. I have access to ISDN studios nearby and will soon have access in my studio.
The success I've enjoyed in my radio career, and in the communications/voiceover world, I credit to my ability to connect with people. It is my experience that I have a delivery that people trust, a voice that they like and believe.
I love the variety of projects in the voiceover business, learning about new products, ideas, services -- I love creating a 'character' for a client to deliver their message.
