I have just finished my first demo with Such A Voice Productions and it turned out very well. The narrations sounded calm and cool, while the commercials were upbeat and fun. I feel that it really showed off my range at this point in my voice over career.

At this point, I could do some bad accents if you were in need of them. My pronunciations are very exact and I would sound funny trying to speak another language other than American English.

My Voice Experience

I am brand new to the business, so I can't provide any previous paid work. I am working with Such A Voice Productions by way of their classes and their website. My demo is posted under my profile and I am currently marketing my talents to begin my voice over career.

My Training

I have a liberal arts background in English and Communications Studies. I grew up doing theatre and singing in my community. I have a high degree of comfort in front of the microphone. My work in Human Services has provided me with great people skills. I am able to train others and to take instruction from others to get a job done right. Previous freelance work has been writing newspaper articles, tutoring school age children and running a home based retail business.

My Studio Equipment

I have not yet purchased my home studio equipment, but I plan to in the near future. There are several studios available in town that I could rent services as needed.

Additional Skills

I am a single mother with a school age child looking for extra income. I have been complimented on my voice my whole life. From my singing to my reading style, it has been a recurring theme. I decided to take everyone's advice and do something with it to provide greater financial stability for myself and my son. What better reason could there be to start a business than to do something you enjoy?
