My Mother tongue is British and I can effect voices like a celebrity, actress, singer, sound like someone everyone knows, and cartoon.

I am a singer so can sing as required in a Voice Over and I also enjoy doing jingles, power intros and song promos.

My second language is French.
I have a basic knowledge of the German and Dutch languages.

I am a member of the British Voice Association (BVA).

My Training

My voice training started at the age of 9 years with singing when I was told I had perfect pitch (didn't know what that meant at the time!) and over the years has encompassed elocution lessons, speech & drama tuition (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London, UK) and singing lessons.

I undertook private, contemporary singing lessons in London, UK, and opera training in Brussels, Belgium - although my preferred singing genre is more jazz/blues/ballad.

I achieved a silver medal from the British Poetry Society in 'the Art of Speaking Verse'. I also successfully achieved a Master Class in Voice Over in London, UK.

I am a member of the British Voice Association (BVA).

Additional Skills

Apart from recording I have also had the privelege of being part of and active in the international business world over the years which broadened my outlook and improved my understanding of diverse cultures, market places and differing styles in reaching target audiences. This, naturally, all added to my voice development!

Over the years colleagues and friends have said that people seem to find my voice (spoken and sung) captivating and alluring - their observation not mine!

Furthermore when talking via the telephone it has been noticed that my voice is one that seems to convince others of what I am saying and they want to hear more............ideal for the Voice Over world of the faceless vocal marketing tool.

I quite simply have a passion for the spoken and sung word..!
