Voice Description

I've been in the broadcast business for over 10 years, so I've got the straight read down pat, no problem there. Many of my clients have described me as a "living cartoon" as well. Fun voices are a blast and I welcome the opportunity to stretch my vocal "legs" as it were. Flexibility is the name of the game! Narrations, Audiobooks and Professional Presentations are not beyond my scope either. I believe my voice is smooth enough to ride over a music bed as well as work around do-nuts and sound effects. My Voice Experience

I've done On-Hold loops as well as TV voice-overs. Mainly in the Milwaukee area, but I have the set-up to go nationally through the internet (FTP/MP3/WAV). My voice has been heard on Milwaukee air-waves, Doctor's office on-hold messages, Computer company voice-mail systems, as well as Nationally on MuchMusic satelite television. Whether it be a radio play or audiobook, "Theatre of the Mind" and vocal acting is a passion. Video Game acting would definately fall into this category! My main job right now is Radio Traffic reporting.

My Training

My vocal training has ranged from singing to acting training. Couldn't get out of that as my sister is a vocal music teacher. Not only have I had over 10 years broadcast experience, but I am also a theatrical director/performer, so I know how important it is to be able to take direction well. My Studio Equipment

Most of my studio equipment is computer based. Windows based with Cool Edit (Adobe Audition) and Goldwave for editing software. I also have a Mackie digital mixing board. Microphones that I use are Senheizer and Shure. I have the ability to gate and process the audio as well as the ability to send raw audio with no processing so you can process it to your preference. I have the ability to provide DAT as well as CD/DVD/MP3/WAV formats.

Additional Skills

I am also a computer technician, so any technical information is not beyond my grasp. It's a new idea... a female that knows about computers, making for a different sound if you need your project to stand out. As I've mentioned, I do have a studio setup that allows me to record into MP3, WAV and send through e-mail as well as an FTP setup for file transfer. Fast turn-around is NOT a problem! Get it done quickly and get it done RIGHT is my philosophy.
