My Voice Experience
I do voice work and some production for radio commercials, for Idavend Broadcasting and Inland N.W.Broadcasting & KRPL out of Lewiston and Moscow ID. I've done on-hold messages (Tax Master), audio for TV spots for KLEW (Grandma's Old Town Cafe), narrated a company-to-community video presentation (Potlatch Co.) in Lewiston ID.
I work in radio, and do a mid-day show on a rock station 102.5 KRAO FM out of Moscow, ID. Love it. I do remote appearences for one of the sister stations, 106.9 KMOK FM. I have worked on a hip-hop, a classic rock, and an oldies station. Great fun.
My Training
I've learned everything I know about voice work, on the job in radio. In 2000 I was working part time running the board for Mariner games when the PD said, "You have great pipes". They have had me behind a mic ever since. I have no academic training but seven years of on the job training under a slave driver. (Don't tell him I said that;>)
My Studio Equipment
I have a Digidesign M Box 2 powered by Protools and an excellent mic and sound proofing in my home.
Additional Skills
Before I landed in radio, I had returned to college to study history, anthropology, archeology and drama. I was carrying a 3.64 GPA, when 2 deaths occurred in my family and I didnt return to school. My part time job as a board operator for Mariners baseball games quickly turned into a seven year career that I have thoroughly enjoyed. Im a well educated DJ/Archeologist.
Before returning to school I had a small and successful sign painting business and three young sons. I can juggle and catch new unexpected things when theyre tossed at me. Im a good person to do business with and I have a great voice. My boys are grown, my equipment is in my home office, and I love having voice work tossed at me.
I hope I can catch and return some for your project.
