A soft, clear and believable voice that's warm & friendly,with a classic smooth and refined, British accent ideal for presentations and training.

For commercials my voice has been described as warm, clear, alive, trustworthy, fun, persuasive. I can sound sexy in a very sophisticated way - playful too.

For reading stories, my theatrical training allows me to add texture, life and color to text - from menace to passion and a complete range of emotions and moods in between.

I can correctly pronounce French, Italian,Spanish and German words and have some good proficiency in all these languages. This is helpful to clients who may be using translated pieces, as my knowledge of these languages allows me to make translations that are correct in spoken English

My Voice Experience

As an actress and poet who performs regularly I have developed huge respect and love for the human voice with which we can all transform the everyday word. Ideas become powerful when we engage in using our voice with feeling to describe a range of passions and our needs. Making recordings for clients around the world is a privelege that allows me to bring my 20+ years of performing and training to communicate with others into the wider world.

My own work - The Chill Meditation series - has now downloaded over 255,000 times making me the U.K.'s number one provider of guided relaxations and, at one time, number One in the USA's health charts.

I record and edit tracks myself to produce a clean, well-organised track that equates with the client's recording schedule or directions. I can add music and effects In addition I have the services of a degree level trained sound engineer for more complex work.

I also use 3 studios locally all of which are equipped with a full commercial range of software including CoolEdit Pro: ISDN capabilities and full effects and sound libraries.

I write and perform poetry.I am also a Reiki & yoga teacher. I am a freelance creative writer , broadcaster and a student of European languages.

I have special interests in Latin dance, drumming, horseback riding and skiing. I am a qualified chef and have worked in hospitality and travel.

I was a business and personal skills trainer for over 20 years and worked in England and Europe for such clients as Shell, Barclaycard, Hanson Quarry Products, Northern Foods Group - providing communcations auditing, training, recruitment, development and interviewing packages. My Master's dissertation covered the importance and effects of communcating positively within organisations and much of my work after this, was rooted in the learning from that.
