My Voice Experience

My experience spans over 20 + yrs. -- I have worked with many ad agencies in my home town of Flint, Michigan (just north of Detroit) for Radio and TV commercials, narrations, on-hold voice messages.
Everything from car dealerships, One-day sales, banks, hospitals, attorneys, funeral homes, jewlery stores,serious documentaries, fun, up-beat, girlfriend, soccer mom, seductress-----------------and more !
I have been an on-air radio personality, news director and morning show co-host at 4 different times over the years.
Have worked for pretty much every ad agency in my area --at least once in my career -- and others -- many, many times.
Last full-time job was as an Advertising Salesperson at WEYI Television - the NBC affiliate in our area -- voiced many ads for my clients as well as many other clients.

My Training

I started out doing plays in high school - then got a job at a radio station as a bookkeeper -- when one day -- one of the DJ's needed a female voice -- and I stepped forward !! I've been on the radio and TV ever since !!
I fell into it as they say -- However, it is my love and my passion !
And, yes -- I'm a total HAM !!!

My Studio Equipment

Snowball Microphone -- the latest in microphones -- I record onto my computer via Audacity Softwear that allows me to record top-quality voice tracks and send them via e-mail or burn to a CD and send through mail.

Additional Skills

The best skill I have is being able to convey a message in a way that gets the message across -- I am versatile -- I just 'feel' how a piece should be done -I am good at "getting into Character".

I have written many ads as part of my several jobs as an Advertising Consultant and Salesperson.

I am creative in all aspects of my life -- I am also an artist and seamstress.
I feel that us "Creative types" tend to be extremely expressive in every aspect of what they do !
