My ability to do characters and accents is not strong. I can likely pull off some U.S. southern accents and mild British accents. I can pull off American teenage girls, too.

My Voice Experience

I have been a radio broadcasting professional for over thirty years (I started when I was thirteen years old!) hosting various music and talk shows within several different formats in the Quad Cities (Davenport, IA) and Des Moines radio markets. In this role, I have produced just about every type of radio and/or television commercial and promo imaginable.

I had been also been selected as a voice over talent for a syndicated Jazz show in the 1990's.

My experience also includes voice tracking radio shows at a distance that sound absolutely live and local.

My Training

I have a Associate of Arts degree in Psychology Education. My experience with voice work is best exemplified by my lifetime spent in the radio broadcasting business.

My Studio Equipment

I am in the process of building an in-home studio (not completed). However, I do have easy access to a fully-stocked, professional radio production studio complete with Shure SM7 microphones, mixing boards, digital production equipment, and Adobe software.

Additional Skills

I have knowledge in some academic arenas---psychology and political science, in particular. I have work experience in horticulture, interior design, and computer software, too.
