My Voice Experience

I began using my voice as a receptionist paging personnel. I now use it as a telefunder for MPT to gain fundraising over the phone. I am known as a story teller, so I use my voice a great deal when I tell stories at home or when I volunteer to teach children at Sunday/Sabbath school or when I volunteer at public schools in the classroom.

My Training

I majored in communications as an undergraduate and took several speech communication courses, and I have experience singing on choirs. My success has primarily been because of my voice. Although I am from the north, I am told that it is difficult to describe what region I was born because I do not seem to have a flagrant accent from any particular place.

Additional Skills

Using my voice as a profession is new to me; however, because I have been so successful in sales over the phone, and public speaking, doing testimonials for scripture reading, I realized that my voice is an untapped market that needs exploring.
