My Voice Experience

As a high school English teacher, I learned early on that students enjoy being read to. They tell me I have a soothing voice that captures ones' attention. I thoroughly enjoy language and emphasize meter and tone in my classes, so that students learn to use their voice as a tool to engage the reader as much as authors use words to create visual imagery.

The extent of my voice over career has been one of recording books and short stories on tape for fellow teachers. The success of these recordings and of ithis nterest has prompted me to turn my abilties into a more professional career as a professional narrator and voice over talent.

My Training

I have a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts with a major in psychology as well as a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction.

I have auditioned for and gotten parts in local plays as well as done poetry readings locally.
