My Voice Experience

I introduced the KIA automobile to America in the mid-nineties when the new import's ad agency was looking for a "real guy voice" in his thirties that had a presence. The agency found me by tracking down a voice-over I'd done on an award-winning spot for a health care company the year before.
From there, it was all referrals. Blue Cross, GMC trucks, Saab, Verizon, JFK Museum, Careerbuilder.com, Beringer wines, Office.com, and a long list of national and local advertisers.

My Training

I'm an advertising writer by trade. Which is why I "get" how things should be read. The inflections, the pauses, the art of keeping it real-- without sounding dull.
Not all everyday-sounding guys poke through.
That's the trick.
