My Voice Experience

I have been doing voice over work since I graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Journalism. I ran my own advertising agency (DC Bowers and Associates) for 12 years where we produced numerous video and audio projects. I've provided voice overs for Flash movies, and other interactive presentations. I am currently the voice of ABC Supply, the largest supplier of exterior building products in the country. My voice is on the telephone at all of their 400 plus locations nationwide. I have worked as the director of Training for a large international manufacturer of automation controls where I wrote and produced numerous training videos covering a variety of technical products from sensors to plcs. I am fast and efficient in the studio.

My Training

B.A. Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA

Worked in the video industry since its infancy. Have produced numerous industrial training and promotional videotapes since the late 1970's.

Worked as the Director of Training for Telemecanique, a large international manufacturer of automation controls. Wrote technical manuals, training programs, training videotapes and audio tapes in order to increase the technical knowledge of our own direct sales force as well as our electrical distributors.

As the VP of Sales and Marketing for Pacific Bearing I spearheaded the introduction of audio newsletters for our direct sales force, providing them with technical information in a format they could use while driving to their sales calls.

In running my own advertising agency I provided the scripting and voice over for many videotapes, audio presentations, and interactive presentations (Flash and Director).
