My Voice Experience
Now I pretty much see myself as one that would not pass a challenge on trying different things with my voice.
Well ok, so I can't sing, but I will certainly give you my best shot in what ever your voice over needs are.
I've done ads for international companies like Huggies, Coca Cola (Character Voice), bmobile (Trinidad and Tobago), Dasani Water, local banks RBTT & Scotia, Visa International, Windows XP local launch etc.
In 2006 I did a Television documentry series on the Trinidad and Tobago Soca Warriors on their entrance into World Cup for the very first time. I have been doing radio stingers and radio ID's for at least 6 years.
I love doing character voices. I can do an old Caribbean Man, a Wizard Voice, a Cartoon Voice in Caribbean and American style. I have done many voice overs for dramatic openings for huge Professional Institustions as mentioned above.
I can also calm down and do a warm inviting voice for message for on-hold systems as well as voice mail greetings.
So looking forward to hearing from you soon.
My Training
My training began when I joined a radio broadcasting company in 1997 to be part of the sales department.
I started to get tips from the announcers and I was told I had a great voice and should do something about it.
I did a broadcasting class for three months and learnt to read news, commercials and conduct interviews.
I have attended Dan O'Day Seminars and I am a part of his mailing list getting weekly tips and updates.
I have also been involved in stage drama for the past 10 years doing small drama productions as well as hosting live shows.
I am a Production Manager at a radio station and do most of the station ID's branding the station.
I have been doing voice over work for Saatchi & Saatchi and McCann Erickson Advertising Agencies and get directed in spots for the last 5 years and have learnt a lot from the directors /producers of the radio / TV spots.
