I actually got into radio as an outlet to keep my sanity when my children were toddlers. I interned at a local station, beginning in 1996 and, within 3 years, I was running the board and doing the news, weather and traffic for the top rated Morning Show on that station. I was definitely hooked.
I transitioned into voice-overs during that time and continue to do both to this day.
I now co-host a morning show for a rock station in Dallas, co-star in a cable TV show about life behind the scenes at a radio station, and do film voice-overs as well as commercial voice-overs. Some of my clients includ Fast Signs, New Balance and Maytag.
I have also acted in commercials and indie films.
In April of 2010, I was featured in an episode of the Biggest Loser when I interviewed some of the contestants at the rock station where I work for a Texas-themed episode of the show. Life is always interesting...
