My Voice Experience

I have been formally trained in theater, radio and on-camera techniques, but eventually settled on a career path in video production. My previous experience and training has served me well when needing to add narration, tags or characters as an in-house talent; as a result, I have had a steady and unexpected supplemental career performing on and off camera for the past 20-years.

I have been a spokesperson for dental training; Centers for Disease Control and Prevention training; Overeaters Anonymous; Boys Town Press and Boys Town National Hotline; Alcoholics Anonymous; Sisters of Mercy Health systems; Logan College of Chiropractic; Sacred Heart Catholic school; and many more.

My Training

As a child and throughout my teen years, I took many acting, dance and voice classes or workshops, and performed in theater, choirs, and film projects. Later, I earned a degree in Television from Columbia College Chicago and have been in the production biz for quite a while.

I have produced or directed numerous audio and video projects and am very familiar with the production process.

My Studio Equipment

In St. Louis, I like to work out of Clayton Studios or Smith Lee. They have full blown audio recording, producing and finishing capabilities with all the current Pro Tools, etc.

I also have an in-home recording studio and full editing capabilities.

Additional Skills

I am quite athletic and try to begin most days with a tennis match or a heavy workout at dawn. Staying fit helps keep my voice in top shape, especially during some of those longer recording sessions.

Voice acting comes naturally to me because I have an innate ability to not only mimic but also to get inside a character and wear their skin.
