My Voice Experience

I currently record textbooks and novels for Recording for the Blind and Dislexic. I have recorded novels for the local school district. As a teacher of young children, I read books using inflection and at times a different voice for each character in the story.

My Training

I attended to an on-line seminar voice over talent and acquired drill skills and voice over lingo from Such a Voice website. I also made narrative and commercial demos as I worked one-on-one with a professiional voice over coach. Any acting I have done is limited to high school and college as well as related classes.

My Studio Equipment

I use the Pro tools LE 7 program along with the digidesign minibox 2 for my recordings. I can deliver in Mp3 or WAV format.

Additional Skills

I have been the Emcee for special events at the local school district and a local day care center. My teaching skills have helped me to be organized, flexible, and develop my people skills. My teaching has also giving me practice in using my voice in a variety of ways: to entertain, inform, and present.
