Voice Description

A warm, friendly female voice, with a sultry undertone. I can inflect the most professional demeanor, a happy story for children or a sizzling hot advertisement and many things in between. I can read in French as well as speak English with a French accent. I have a large English vocabulary and can pronounce the “big words” like I know what they mean, even the ones that didn’t start out as English! I also have a strong voice for sports.

My Voice Experience

My experience started with on-air talent at my High School radio station where I concentrated on news delivery. I was also the growling live intro voice for a local hard rock band in the 80’s. In broadcasting school, I refined my voice and pronunciation skills, adding hands-on class work doing advertising spots and voice overs for video. I continued doing promotional, training and program voice over for 4 years on Local Cable Television as Public Access Coordinator and Sports producer for Omnicom Cable, Canton, Michigan in the 90’s.

Additional Skills

I worked in local cable for 4 1/2 years prior to completing my Communications degree. After college, I worked at a Metro Detroit production house in the library, working with commercial producers and voice over talents as part of the every day job.
