My Voice Experience
I seem to have the ability to be available when a voiceover is needed. When I'm working on a project, occasionally the producer will hear me talking and want to use my voice in the project. I've done radio announcers, grocery store intercoms, public service announcements, political commercials and read narration.
I hosted a one time hour long radio show in El Paso TX called "The Texas Lone Star Show" on KLAQ FM.
My Training
Full Sail Center for the Recording Arts - Orlando, FL
Musicians Institute (electronic instruments and MIDI) - Hollywood, CA
Audiograph International (Pro Tools Certification) - Santa Monica, CA
The Recording Arts Center (Pro Tools Re-certification 2010) - San Diego, CA
My Studio Equipment
I own and operate a recording studio in Las Cruces NM called Studio 603.
http://www.studio603.com
I have recorded ADR for several films and commercials, as well as voiceovers for local radio and television stations for a variety of interests. From political announcements to promotional material for colleges, special sales events to television, radio, and movies... I think I've about recorded it all! (See website pics!)
State of the art equipment including Pro Tools HD, Isolation rooms, Blue Sky monitoring systems, and in booth video support for voice talent. I utilize "Vocalalign" voice replacement software that replaces dialogue to sample level accuracy.
Mic selection includes Neumann, Sennheiser, AKG, Audix, and Shure
HD and LE Pro Tools stations are linked for quick communication so work can continue if adjustment needs to be made. Both rooms are often being utilized on a bigger project, and turnaround time is usually cut by at least 1/3.
Additional Skills
I've been in the Pro Audio business for well over 25 years and know what it takes to get the job done...
I started my first sound business in 1985, and moved it to Los Angeles for 10 years, and returned to Las Cruces after the birth of my first daughter.
I was raised here, and have a great time showing out of town clients the hidden away gems in the area, so out of town folks can relax and concentrate on achieving a top notch mix for their film, commercial, or voiceover.
Studio 603 is a comfortable homelike atmosphere that is the choice of many who would otherwise travel to California or New York for the same quality product.
