My Voice Experience

I recently played a pivitol role in Shakespeare's Hamlet, that of Yoric. I found it a very challenging role which required rapid weight loss.Served as a priest in church of England for more than twenty years.(can't get harder theatre than that). born a natural idiot, practical joker,story teller and impersonator.
most of my sermons were recorded and can be obtained through National Health service as cure for sleeplessness.
I recorded a shor narration for a film for ITV 3 'Good arrows' directed by Irvin Welsh (Trainspotting). recorded a telephone message for the answer machine of a member of the X Factor selection panel. (Wow, I hear you say.)
Currently working as broadcaster with local Radio.

my past life, as a priest, has provided me with a wealth of experience for work in the Voice Acting industry. ie: dealing with attempted suicides, disasters, weddings and funerals, composing sermons for delivery to more than 200 every Sunday which needs an interesting, funny, sexy, honest, compassionate, dramatic delivery. I am also a freelance writer which requires an ability to know what makes people read with interest and always to have in my mind the image of the person to whome I am addressing.
As a priest I have been required to alter my voice to adapt to changing situations (much like a polititian, but with honesty and sincerity.
