Voice Description

My voice is for the types of recordings that are high trust oriented both in English and Spanish. My strengths are narratives and commercial ads for high class products and services. My voice inflexion is professional but yet warm and inviting. I can make listeners think of a product as a point for consideration even a necessity rather than just another ad, and take a listener into the story or clip narrated and become submerged. My native languages are English and Spanish. I was raised in the border between Mexico and US but learned my Spanish in Mexico itself. I have no specificaccent in Spanish which has people asking where I am from and where did I learn my spanish. My grade of Spanish spoken is my forte, I speak unusually well and have a rich mental lexicon of phrases and words that are uncommon but make any ad or narration much more colorful and certainly professional. I can emulate the accents of other countries like , Puerto Rico, Dominican Rep. ,Spain, Mexico, Columbia etc. , but I personally have a neutral accent which means your target audience will not be turned off by an accent that they cannot identify with, unless it is prescribed and necessary for a specific recording. My voice is flexible and adaptable to any requirement.

My Voice Experience

I gained recording experience and voice recording experience working for 6 Months at a Studio in Upstate NY where two quarterly audio magazines were recorded. I served as a recording engineer and editor as well as filled in for Spanish Language projects. My duties where to set up talent for recording and set up Pro Tools and analog Sony board for recording. I was the recording engineer as well as real time script analyzer (i was one of the ones used to catch reading/grammatical mistakes or undesireable noises. Calling retakes was my duty. Finally I edited the final product until it met the criteria set forth for by our Head engineers in regards to precise reading, precise levels and
precise mixdown.

I know work as a freelance translator and supplement my income by recording projects. I have my own studio which makes it more practical for jobs that I receive. All I need is a script or a clip in english and I can translate and record immediately. I use Pro-Tools LE and know how to process sound
to whatever is desired. I know how to format into different files and dither it down if necessary.I also compose music which allows a potential client to order a complete recording straight from me. I am an experienced musician that records in all genres. I have all the tools necessary to get recording concepts off the ground. I am a singer and songwriter with many songs and soundtracks that will prove to you I am what a client wants and needs.
