Voice Description
Given my Upper East Side Manhattan upbringing and Ivy League education, professional, understated and intelligent styles of speech come naturally to me. Years of performing in experimental theater have lent me stylistic range and a facility with outlandish, over-the-top characters. My voice is naturally deep, but I can go higher, if needs be.

My Voice Experience
While I'm only now embarking on a professional voice over career, I've done a number of projects over the last couple of decades, including voice overs for numerous live theatrical and night club performances in, several independent films, and a promotional video for a toy, then called 'Goofballs', which is now called Astrojax. I also starred in a Halloween Promo for VH1, in which I both appeared on camera and in the voice over.
My Training
I have both a BA in Philosophy and a JD from Cornell. While there, when I wasn't learning the communications skills necessary to debate with Ivy League philosophy and law professors, I studied directing with David Feldshuh and filmmaking with Marilyn Rivchin.
In New York, I've studied acting with Elizabeth Browning, clowning with Eric Davis (a.k.a. Red Bastard) and improv with several teachers at The Upright Citizens Brigade, including Amy Poehler.
I am currently studying commercial voice over with Marla Kirban.
My Studio Equipment
I have a PowerBook G4, a Blue Snowflake, Ableton Live, Audacity and trusty, old GarageBand.
Additional Skills
I am, often, the host of Angela Harriell's 'The Love Show' (a variety dance cabaret), one of the creators of 'Nutcracker: Rated R' (New York City's underground dance holiday tradition), and a regular performer in Evan Laurence's 'Sexahol Revue' (a monthly burlesque, comedy and music extravaganza).
I am the third best kazoo player I've ever heard, and am developing a capacity for throat-singing, in the Tuvan and Tibetan tradition. I've begun to be known for my dub, trip hop and electronic arrangements of show tunes and standards, and have deejayed at Galapagos Art Space as part of Swing House.
The New York Times has referred to me as 'resembling the ghost of Pavarotti'.
