Voice Description

I can make my voice sound really confideent and heroic. My voice is naturally fit for adolescents/young adults. I can also sound very intense in battle scenes, I take Tae Kwon Do and am a Third Degree Black Belt so I can really make great yells for fights. I can sound very smooth and professional when I'm being factualistic and trying to act wise.

I speak Japanese really good and I can put in a lot of emotion with the words. I'm not completely fluent but I know enough to say whatever I want to say to get my point across. I also have a very native-sounding natural voice.

My Voice Experience

I have started trying out dubbing ever since I found out I could switch the cables of a Karaoke Machine and a DVD player on a VCR and record while watching anime DVD's on tape. I had a lot of fun- I started doing this Junior year in high-school during Winter. I had fun just doing plain dubbing with DVDs such as Neon Genesis Evangelion- Shinji- and Samrai X- Kenshin.

Then I found out about the Voice acting alliance on You-tube after watching a really inspiring clip done by an amatuer Voice Actress. Ever since then I tried to use the computer that I have to make as professional as possible voice recordings and random clips- namely Tsubasa Chronicles, Tales of Symphonia, and Busou Renkin. This is just for fun though and I only show my projects to close friends and people on the Voice Acting Alliance site.

My Training

I watched a lot of interviews of Voice Actors, their experience, and how things are. I have taken special attention at seeing how much emotion they put into their lines, their diction, and their method of delivering lines. I've also tried doing voice overs for the voice acting alliance practing like that for the last past year. It's really fun, and I think I have a lot of potential.

I have a very rich lifestyle. Growing up I played a lot of Basketball, won the National Junior Basketball #1 Trophy twice for two years,was involved in the Boy Scouts, became an Eagle Scout, took Tae Kwon Do at 11, am now a Third Degree Black Belt and Instructor second only to my Master. I'm also religious and have been an alter server for 10 years as well. I'm currently a student attending the presitious University of California Irvine taking up a Japanese major and am interested in the anime field- am planning to hopefully take up law after I'm done with my major and work with major companies.
