Voice Description

Snugly located in the Middle of the vocal spectrum, my voice is not to high and not too low. Low enough to transfer warmth and feeling, high enough to inflect enough to put a sparkle on the point of emphasis. I can be booming loud, and whisper quiet as the narrative demands.

My Voice Experience

Born in the Tropics, I learned to love people, hearing and telling stories - especially the ones that leave you thinking long after you've heard them.

I've been a Tech Suport Analyst for an entire Sales Team, Taught groups of employees to use new gear, Done countless IT presentations, and removed apprehensions from new clients - ALL by the Spoken Word.

I've composed and sang a few recorded songs, going back to 1989, done backup vocals, so my voice has seen a fair share of action. One of my fondest memories was doing a voiceover for my Brother-in-Law's wedding in 2005. I recorded a deep/bassy Hebrew Blessing over some newage stringed soundscapes. Unforgettable!

I've also done voice over work for a marketing CD by a Financial Planning Company in Toronto, Canada.

My Training

I've always been surrounded by great speakers. My grandfather was an Orator, my pops a minister. Among my siblings and relatives are singers and performers. Jack Soul (Canada)for instance is my cousin.

I've had media training at Ryerson Polytechnic doing Media studies there and learning some tricks of the trade for commercial recordings where commercials for Canadian radio originated.

And yes, then there UHK (Hard Knocks) There's nothing that beats good ole mixing with folks to put perspective to words.
