My Voice Experience

Stand-Up Comedian(since 1986)
Write and perform my own brand of stand-up comedy, which includes impressions as well as sound effects. Have opened shows for such comics as Bob Saget and Dana Carvey. Won first place in the RPO Comedy Contest and third place in the “Funniest Person in Rochester” Contest.

Exploratory Instructor-The Odyssey School (September, 1993- December, 1994)
Instructed junior high school students in the art of comedy, developed lessons that required students to write and perform a comedy routine. Had students work in groups and individually to hone their own style and timing which culminated with a final presentation before the entire school.

Instructor-Greece Community Education (September 1993-December, 1994)
Instructed adults in the art of stand-up comedy and public speaking in two different classes. Met on a weekly basis for six weeks. Made hand-outs and notes in order facilitate the lessons.

Education- Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Fordham University (1986)
