My Voice Experience
I first began my V/O career with a radio show in college in Chicago at DePaul University with my roommate. It was called "Dago and the Sheik", and we did all manner of nonsense (no one listened, though the station manager insisted we were popular). I first did a real voice-over gig by doing public service announcements for a friend of mine who was a DJ at K-92 in Roanoke, VA. (He had a shift from midnight to 4 AM, so I think he was desperate.) It was a lot of fun, though, and my first paying gig was for a national Phillips-Magnavox television ad several years ago, with a Middle Eastern accent (I'm good with accents of all kinds).
