Voice Description

I have a very deep distinctive radio voice for someone at the age of 23. I consider my voice best suited for warm and soothing styles of recording specifically voice-overs, messages on hold, and voice acting. I can modulate my voice for any requirement necessary. I can also speak German (my second language) having spent a decent amount of time in Southeastern Austria. If you need a smooth, deep, professional sound, I have the voice you need.

My Voice Experience

"Grüß euch!" German & Communications are the degrees that I am currently finishing at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. I have always had an interest in communication since I was very young. I acquired a linguistic interest once I was in high school after taking only a Spanish course. German however has been the love of my life ever since taking a basic level collegiate course. Now I study it, listen to music in the German language, and watch the news daily in the language. I've had approximately 30 hours of German language courses at the University of Arkansas and I consider myself well versed in reading and diction, having made numerous speeches in my various organizational, linguistic, and public speaking classes. I was always encouraged to pursue a career involved with voice-overs so I did some basic telemarketing when I first entered college thinking that to be a "natural" place to make money using my voice. I have also recorded a 30 second advertisement voice-over for Lumber One out of Fort Smith, AR.

My Training

Classes taken at the University of Arkansas: Organizational Communication, Public Speaking, Argumentation, International Film, and others including numerous courses in the German language.
I grew up in a musical household having a professional piano player for a mother and a choir director for a father so I have a skilled ear for pitch and tone.

I have spent the last 12 years of my life working around or with computers in my spare time and I am very familiar with different varieties of software.
