However I also did middays for rythmic top 40, so I can definetly mix in exciting and give different reads. Professional, sexy, fun, or scary, these are all types of reads I feel I am strong at.

My Voice Experience

I was in radio for six years. The first year and a half I was always nervous when I turned on the mic. It's the love show that blew my head beyond proportion. I would get calls the whole show about my voice and how well I spoke. After that I was just looking for any mic near me. Towards the end of my career I seemed to always pay attention to our voice guy. I would also repeat or copy the voice guy from any movie trailor I ever heard. That's when being on the air wasn't as cool as it used to be. I've obsessed over this type of opportunity ever since, and now I'll do anything to make it work.

My Training

I never had classes or anything like that. I did do alot of production with promos and our voice guy. I was also suggested to me several times by my music director J. Reed. He would just give me the same copy he would give our voice guy and I would just rehearse like no tomorrow. He also made it known to me what he did and didn't like about the voice guy. Like giving several reads and don't be sloppy. I work tirelessly on these skills.

I'm not saying I can sing...BUT I can hold a tune if you need that sort of thing. I was also an athelete, if anything is needed like sports announcing or anything of that nature...I can defenitely give that feel as well.
