My Voice Experience

During my career in Satellite Communications, based in Paris, I was Sales and Marketing Manager for the Far East and South Asia. I was in demand to chair International Telecommunication Conferences, since my voice was readily understandable by other nationalities, as it was clear and calm, giving non-Anglophones confidence to participate in English.

Similarly, I gave many technical and explanatory presentations (often, I tried to head them up with a greeting in the local language) to audiences up to several hundred in South Asia and the Far East at International Conferences giving rise to lively and far reaching Q&A sessions.

My Training

I studied the piano, organ and choral/solo singing from childhood to date.

I successfully studied at technical degree level and then performed on-board marine communications both in terms of voice communication and electronic engineering.

I attended many classes, seminars and workshops in public speaking and presentation skills and received many diplomas and awards.

I attended a one-to-one Voice-Over Master Class with Gary Terzza, who has since, continued to advise and assist me.

My Studio Equipment

I have my own studio, having a MXL USB006 microphone together with Audacity Editing software which gives an excellent quality, whilst still affording flexibility and portability to meet client demand.

Qualified electronics engineer.

I have sung in British and American choirs in England and France (in both Bass and Tenor voices) and have played both the piano (passengership entertainment) and the organ (for church services).

This musical experience, coupled with public speaking and discussion sessions, enhances my voice talent to offer friendly, clear and explanatory solutions for diverse English voice-over and radio voice requirements for both home and abroad.
