Versatility is my key. I can deliver almost any style from a slow soft emotional delivery to a head banging hard sell. My voice is mature, yet can stretch to a more youthful approach. Radio and TV Promos and Movie Trailers are what I'm suited for best; upbeat announcer commercials are easy as well as the occaisional British slant. I take great care to provide the client with as many options as possible. Again, versatility is the key. When you listen to my demos, you'll hear the difference!

My Voice Experience

1. Spent many years as a Jingle Singer.
2. Worked in radio around the US for 20 years as a Morning Man and Production Director winning many awards.
3. For 10 years held the position of Creative Director for the Maxim Group, a large advertising division in Atlanta, Georgia.
4. For 2 years held the position of Producer for the television show, "Life in the Wild" with host Jim Fowler
which aired in 40 different countries worldwide.
5. At present am the staff announcer "Voice" of the Cartoon Network and TNT at Turner Broadcasting studios.
6. Also at present I am the proprietor/talent for Big
Oak Bend Studios located here in Atlanta where we conceptualize, write and produce projects for TV, radio,
and internet; from commercials and promos, to long and short form video, and music; from corporate to broadcast. We do it all.

My Training

1. Trained/studied in England at the Rose Bruford College
in London, and garnered a teaching degree in English and Theater.
2. Studied ballet and fencing for three years.
3. Studied voice and vocal technique.
4. Learned all forms of media production "on the job."

My Studio Equipment

1. Studio One at Big Oak Bend studios is a large professionally built isolation booth complete with it's own pro-tools system and various mikes such as the AKG 414.

2. Studio Two at Big Oak bend is in the main control room complete with various near field monitors, speakers, compressors and outboard gear dedicated to music and vocal production backed by Pro-tools 7.0 on a dual processor Mac G4.

3. Also located in the same room is the Mac G5 which contains various video editing programs such as Final Cut Pro 5, Motion, Garage Band, Logic Studio, etc. all dedicated to sound and motion picture.

4. In an adjacent room (which used to be a garage) is Studio 4 dedicated to the recording of vocals and musical instruments. Vintage and modern drum sets; 1 large acoustic piano, 2 digital pianos, 1 Wurlitzer, and a whole range of microphones from vintage to modern.

Additional Skills

Being able to deliver exactly what the client wants in a timely fashion is key to the job at hand. We have never had to do 15-20 "takes" on any project. We take direction very well and deliver projects on time. We also understand that our middle name at times can be "revision." We understand that every project is "organic" and can change it's "face" as the project moves forward. Keeping an open mind during the entire creative process is tantamount to making it the best it can be.
