My Voice Experience

I have 20 years experience in music production and performance.

I created a radio show intro for 95.7 JAMZ in Birmingham, AL. I have produced background music for use in wedding videos, graduate school student presentations, doctoral candidate presentations, websites, and voice overs for talking stuffed animal characters.

I own an audio recording stuio, where we record voice overs and help improve vocal talent.

My Training

I have a B.S. degree in Physics. I am a math/science instructor and spend evenings, week-ends and summers running my audio production facility.

I come from a long history of educators in my family, many of which taught English, voice & diction, and speech. I was trained from age 6 to do public speaking, musical performance, and singing (NO! I can't sing. lol). In college I was on the Student Government Association and served as a campus ambassador responsible for communicating with vistors, allumni, and parents of prospective students.

I belong to a local band that has done numerous public performances over the past 9 years.

Owning a studio has given me great insight on what it takes to do polished, professional recordings. Be it gaming, post-production for film, album mixing/mastering, voice over work, or music instrumentation, I know what is involved on both sides of the process.
