My Voice Experience

I have been doing audio recording as a hobby (some would say an obsession), all my life. From the writing of the stories to the creating of sound effects, and dialogue, I have put together one project after another.I have recorded sci-fi, mystery, and lots of humor. I am always looking for new challenges, always trying to create new, believable characters, and new voices. I was forced to explore my own voice techniques when it became too difficult to get my friends involved in my preoccupation.
I have also been complimented on my public reading ability; something that comes from reading aloud into a microphone for so many years I'm guessing.

My Training

I have always been a long time admirer, of the arts; fine arts and music. I studied fine arts in my college years and graduated with a bachelor of arts. Then later studied writng with the Institute of Children's Literature. In College I also took Creative writing, and a required communications course. My professor once asked me if I had ever thought of becoming an actor. Quite a compliment I thought at the time and I have never stopped wondering what if...
