Voice Description

My voice can easily range from the simple guy next door to the dramatic and dynamic. It has been utilized in anything from PSA's to McDonald's commercials. I can deliver copy in a vast array of inflections. I have been utilized extensively in radio ad's, sweepers and PSA's.

I can very easily deliver dialogue in a fun, sexy, dramatic, professional, warm, serious, powerful or dynamic manner. But, most people just prefer a straight read from me.

I have my own professional recording studio and am quite capable of producing work on very short notice.

My Voice Experience

I have done many different types of voice over work. Including my own production work for local radio stations my voice has been used in the St. Louis market in morning radio and drive time. I have been used extensively in commercials for companies like McDonald's, MidWest Motor Sports and Mojo's Music...Just to name a few.

I have done many Public Service announcements and general radio imaging.

I offer a wide range of services from production capabilities to general voice work.

My Training

I got my start in radio broadcasting. I have an associates degree and a certificate of proficiency in radio broadcasting from Lewis and Clark Communtiy College.

I got my first voice over opportunity as a result of a class project in college. I interviewed a local morning show personality and he then asked me to become the "voice" of his morning show. From there it just ballooned into where I'm at today.

My experience has a wide range but it all comes down to my ability and professional quality of product.

My Studio Equipment

I have my own production and recording studio in my home and have access to a local radio station with three additional recording studios within it.

In my home studio I use ProTools 7.4 production and music recording software. I use a MXL 992 Diaphragm Condenser Microphone. I have used others and keep coming back to this one because of the quality. All of this is in my own personal sound booth that cost me thousands of dollars to have professionally put in my home. It is completely silent and provides exemplary conditions for voice recording.

In the local radio station to which I have access I have my choice or recording software that includes ProTools 7.4, SAW, SoundForge and Adobe. I have my choice of different condenser microphones to use including Sony, MXL and Audio-Technica.

If my own faculties aren't what you are looking for, I am willing to travel to an approved local sound studio of your choosing. However, I'm sure that if given the chance you will be extremely satisfied with the quality of my product.

Additional Skills

In addition to all of my pre-recorded voice work I am a certified and accredited broadcaster. I am very comfortable delivering copy live and being in front of a camera.

In my career I have had the opportunity to meet some of the greatest voices and minds in the industry and have taken each of my encounters to better my abilities and myself.
